SWICO at the 47th OESAI Conference: Advancing Customer Experience in Insurance

We were honored to participate in the 47th OESAI – Organisation of Eastern and Southern Africa Insurers – Conference, held from 23rd to 27th August 2025 at Speke Resort Munyonyo, Kampala. This year’s conference carried the theme “The Future of Customer Experience in Insurance”, reflecting the growing importance of customer-centric approaches in our industry.

Our team was represented by Hamza Mutebi, our CEO, and Ronald Jaggwe, our Manager of Marketing and Distribution, who joined peers from across the region, including insurers, reinsurers, regulators, and industry thought leaders. Together, participants explored how the insurance sector can continue to evolve to meet the expectations of policyholders, enhance service delivery, and foster resilience across the industry.

The conference offered a platform for rich dialogue, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. Discussions focused on the latest trends in customer experience, innovative insurance solutions, and the critical role of trust, transparency, and responsiveness in shaping a customer-focused sector.

We thank the OESAI Secretariat and fellow participants for the engaging discussions, fresh insights, and shared vision.
