With an illustrious career spanning over 15 years in the financial services and insurance sectors, Mr. Mutebi brings a wealth of expertise in strategic leadership, operational excellence, and digital transformation. His proven track record includes spearheading high-growth initiatives, optimizing business performance, and fostering innovation across emerging markets. Prior to joining SWICO, Mr. Mutebi held key leadership roles at MUA Uganda, Yospa Microfinance, Turaco, MicroInsurers Association of Uganda, where he successfully led large-scale digital adoption, customer-centric product development, and market expansion strategies.

Mr. Mutebi succeeds Mrs. Evelyn Nkalubo Muwemba, who has served as CEO with exceptional dedication, steering SWICO through a period of sustained growth, profitability, and industry recognition.
