On 10th March 2023, SWICO attended the 2022 Insurance Innovation Awards. The awards provide a platform for knowledge and information dissemination by sharing the best practices, experiences, and expertise, fostering innovation and creativity in the insurance services value chain, and subsequently expanding the insurance market boundaries.

SWICO participated in the 2023 Annual Insurance week where we sensitized the public about the benefits of Insurance. The five-day event kicked off on Monday March 6th to 10th, at Railways Grounds, Kampala under the theme “Be Insured; We will Bear Your Risk”.

As part of our strategic plan. Frequent product training for our customers are paramount. As such, SWICO frequently engages customers on training about better risk management as well as the necessary steps required to successfully lodge a claim. These interactions help us learn more about our clients’ needs and how we can serve them better.

On 28th September 2022, SWICO was invited to attend the 2nd Annual Corporate Governance Awards. The company was represented by Shiffah Matovu from the Legal department who received a certificate of attendance from the organisers.

UWEC will this year, 2022 make 75 years. As one of their long term partners, SWICO was invited to take part in the celebrations. On 28th September 2022 during the opening ceremony of their celebrations, SWICO made a contribution of 2 million shillings via dummy cheque presented by the Marketing Manager and account handler.
